LRRL 2025 – Season Closure

That’s it! After seven months and eleven races, our 2025 season has come to a close.

Thank you to all of our member clubs who have put on races this year for us to enjoy and compete in. Thank you to all of our clubs and athletes for continuing to support the League in such numbers, whether you are finishing 1st or 401st, you are all contributing to the success of the League.

Congratulations to our overall Champions for 2025, Matt Scarsbrook of Badgers and Charlie Nurse of West End Runners. Both have had magnificent campaigns and will deservedly be taking home the main prizes at our Night of Champions on 31 October. LRRL Rotherby 8

Congratulations to all at Wreake Runners & Team Anstey for the successful completion of today’s Rotherby 8 in rather thick fog. We’re happy to report no-one got lost on course and all starters returned safely, with no need for a lighthouse or fog horn to bring them home!

The draft results from today’s race are now available here.

As its the last race of the season we know everyone will be keen to find out who all our prize winners are, and we will endeavour to get this published as soon as we can this week, once we are happy any niggles from today’s results are resolved.

It is better to publish winners confidently, than rush and make some embarrassing backtracks!

Results will be finalised by next Friday/Saturday.

Tickets for our 2025 Night of Champions are selling fast so please secure your ticket sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available here.
