Quad Kids Match 2

Apologies  about the late notice regarding the cancellation of the second Quadkids match, however for safety reasons with lightning hitting the stadium along with a flooded track and impossible to rake long jump pits, and also on the strong advice of Saffron Lane staff it was the only decision available. I will be looking at trying to find a suitable date to reschedule to.

Network Coordinator

Club Sharing

Oregon16-1Coach and athlete development are key priorities for the network, as is bringing clubs together to share ideas. Tuesday’s Oregon Circuit, hosted by Huncote Harriers, was a success on all these fronts. About 60 athletes and coaches from network clubs attended the session, which was led by Nicki Nealon.

Oregon16-3

After one of John Skevington’s famous dynamic warm ups, athletes were taken through some drills (including some of those featured on our drills page) by Nicki, before getting stuck into the circuit proper (where they were supported by coaches from four different clubs). By the end, there were some tired bodies but everyone seemed to have enjoyed the session and left with lots of good ideas to take back to their clubs.
